What would you do?(dating situation)?

I really was into this girl very pretty im 14 btw and at the dance we danced and we used to hang at parties so i asked her out and said wait a few days because she was invited to a dance to a different school so i said ok there was nothing i could do about that. so when i got home my parents got mad at me for some reason and grounded me! so i couldnt txt her or go places with her while that other kid did so she ended up picking him but that only lasted a few days. my first instinct was i was pist that she picked him then i thought it was partialy my fault either way i thought i was over with her then i saw some kid walk up and touch her butt then she jumped and pushed his hands away and i punched him square in the stomach as hard as i could and said back off man. and he said woah man chill. idk wat i felt i guess i still want her and recently i asked her to go somewhere but she said next time cuz she had plans. and a few days ago her annoying friend said ask her again cuz she really likes me but i dont no if shes lieing her friend isnt very trustworthy. but she said they talk about me all the time. what would you do?should i give her another chance?my brain says no but my heart says yes
